Yummy food. Good portions. Excellent live music from an African American singer lady. She was engaged with the crowd and sang great songs. Made it a nice experience. I enjoyed the catfish and bread pudding. Boudin balls were good too.

I’m from the South but currently live in Wisconsin. When I saw a place close bye that had hush puppies I was excited! We had a sampler appetizer that was good! Loved the gator tail. The seafood basket was delicious, the oysters were my favorite. I was not bothered by the price. I think it’s a fair price for so much seafood. Can’t go wrong with the catfish either! I wish I would have tried the soup, our only regret of the meal!

Even though they were quite busy and the crowd was growing, the workers stayed composed and gave amazing service! We were checked on frequently, but not to a level of overbearing. The food was extremely quick too, especially for a sit-down-made-to-order-restaurant. We both got the Catfish Basket. It wasn’t greasy, so it doesn’t make you feel bad afterwards about eating it. Extremely filling. You’re probably going to spend closer to 20 per person, rather than 10 per. Very lovely ambiance with the decorations and the live singer, who was absolutely amazing and had very good yodeling skills. We will definitely be back in the future.

First time for the wife and I to dine at Pawpaw's Catfish Kitchen located in Wears Valley Tennessee. This is a restaurant that is on our must return to list because of the fast and friendly service plus some really great food. Being originally from south Louisiana we always look for a taste of home style cooked meals and this definitely has that Louisiana flavor. The appetizer of boudin balls was awesome, might be spicy to those that aren't used to having flavor in their food. We split an order of catfish that came with fries and hush puppies. There was enough food on that platter that we had leftovers! Looking forward to our next visit where we will try some other items offered on their menu.

Everyone was so polite, the food was fresh and hot, served in a timely manner. I had been waiting to try their White Chocolate Bread Pudding and it did not disappoint! We were blessed to dine on a day that they had a lovely Lady singing to the dining guests, that topped everything off. Definitely a place you should try!

Wow, let's start with that. A New Orleans flavor restaurant in the Smokey Mountain area of Wares Valley. If you are near the area of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg this is a MUST Go. Small, quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, great decor with a family feel. All the staff were great and went out of their way to make sure our dining experience was a good one. My wife has a shellfish allergy which makes some restaurants like this difficult because most fry everything together, but they made sure that her food was safe from any cross contamination with any shellfish. We ordered and assortment of food as to get to try a lot. We ordered fried catfish, boudin ball, hush puppies, muffulatta, roast beef po boy and chicken and sausage gumbo. All were really good, and.the menu is actually pretty large so there was a lot to choose from. Again a definite must try. We will be back for sure.
